Benromach Distillery

Benromach Distillery is a Speyside distillery owned by the Urquhart family, known for its handcrafted Speyside single malt whisky. It's located near Forres and was established in 1898, but was rebuilt and reopened by Gordon & MacPhail in 1998. The distillery is known for its subtle smoky character and focuses on using high-quality Scottish barley and spring water from the nearby Romach Hills.

Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle

Once one of Scotland’s largest castles, Urquhart saw great conflict during its 500 years as a medieval fortress. Control of the castle passed back and forth between the Scots and English during the Wars of Independence. The power struggles continued, as the Lords of the Isles regularly raided both castle and glen up until the 1500s.

Dallas Dhu Distillery

The Dallas Dhu Distillery, located in Forres, Morayshire, Scotland, is a historic distillery built in 1898. Originally named Dallasmore, it was later renamed Dallas Dhu after it was purchased by Wright & Greig Ltd, who used the distillery's malt whisky for their "Roderick Dhu" blend.

Fort George Highlander Museum

The Highlander Museum is situated in Fort George, Ardersier - a working Army Barracks home to The Queen’s Own Highlanders.  Fort George is a Scheduled Ancient Monument - the highest possible listing of building conservation in Scotland.

The museum offers guided tours of the Fort during the Summer months and houses a large collection of military artefacts including uniforms, weapons, letters and diaries, and photographs.
