You can also download our Guide to Nairn & The Highlands Brochure for inspiration before you travel.

Cawdor Castle & Gardens

Tucked away in the picturesque conservation village of Cawdor, this remarkable 15th-century castle is best known for its connection to Shakespeare's Macbeth.

What makes it truly special is that it remains a family home to this day — the Campbell family have lived here since the 1600s.

After your tour of the castle, you can relax with a coffee in the café, wander the beautiful gardens, or even enjoy a round on their nine-hole golf course.

Culloden Battlefield & Clava Cairns

One of the most significant and moving sites in Scottish history, Culloden was the scene of the last pitched battle ever fought on British soil.

The interactive visitor centre brings the story of the final Jacobite Rising to life through fascinating artefacts, personal accounts from both sides, and an immersive surround cinema experience. A truly unforgettable visit.

Isle of Skye Day Trip

One of Scotland's most iconic destinations, the Isle of Skye is a place that has to be seen to be believed — and we'll take you there in comfort, straight from Nairn. En route, we stop at the magnificent Eilean Donan Castle, sitting at the meeting point of three sea lochs and one of the most photographed castles in Scotland.

On Skye itself, you'll find dramatic landscapes at every turn — the jagged Cuillin Mountains, the otherworldly Quiraing, the iconic Old Man of Storr, and the charming harbour town of Portree. We'll tailor the day around you, and our drivers will make sure you don't miss a thing.

Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle

No trip to the Highlands would be complete without a visit to the legendary Loch Ness. Standing on the banks of this famous stretch of water are the dramatic ruins of Urquhart Castle — once one of Scotland's largest fortresses, with a turbulent history spanning over 500 years of conflict, power struggles, and sieges. The views alone are worth the journey.

Speyside Malt Whisky Trail

Scotland's most celebrated whisky region sits right on your doorstep. The Speyside Malt Whisky Trail winds through beautiful countryside, taking in some of the world's most famous distilleries — including Glenfiddich in Dufftown, the legendary Macallan Estate, and Strathisla in Keith, the oldest working distillery in the Highlands and home of Chivas Regal.

The best part? You can sample to your heart's content — we're driving. We're happy to tailor the trail to your own whisky preferences, so just let us know what you'd like to see.

Fort George Highlander Museum

Situated just outside Ardersier on a dramatic peninsula jutting into the Moray Firth, Fort George is one of the finest examples of 18th-century military architecture in Europe and a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Still an active army barracks, it's also home to The Highlander Museum, which houses an impressive collection of military uniforms, weapons, letters, diaries, and photographs. Guided tours are available during the summer months.
